Planning has started for this autumn's Women's Conference.

The event, on Saturday 24 October at TUC Congress House in London, 10.00 - 18.00, will once again bring together women from across the union to discuss how best BECTU can deliver for them.

Organised around the theme Why Women? the event will demonstrate the union's commitment to its women members and discuss ways in which women can become more involved in the union's affairs, both formally and informally.

Invited guest speakers and a number of discussion groups will draw on the skills and experience of women members, representatives and officials.

Kate Elliott, Equality Officer, commented: "Once again,  I,  my colleagues and members of the Equality and Diversity Committee, look forward to hosting this event. For now we ask members to put a note into their diaries; we will follow up with more information about the programme in the coming weeks."

To book your place email Kate Elliott or call 020 7346 0908.
