BECTU launches specialist BAME hair & make-up training

BECTU's new BAME hair & make-up courses take place in London in October.

12 September 2017

BECTU has developed a series of specialist workshops to address the lack of training for professional hair & makeup artists working with BAME performers.

Created in partnership with Equity

The three modules will take place this October at BECTU's head office, and will cover Understanding Afro & Asian Hair,Barbering Skills for Afro & Asian Hair and Make-up For Black & Asian Skin

The training responds to demands from creative sector hair and make-up professionals wishing to enhance their skills in Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic hair and make-up techniques and will also support the needs of BAME on-screen talent and production in general.
