The NSA is BECTU's partner in the delivery the Festival of Learning. Other key industry organisations are also contributing to the event.

Join BECTU and key learning and industry organisations in theatre and entertainment for a day of discussion, demonstrations and networking.
The event takes places on Thursday 24 March from 10.00 - 15.30 at the Crescent Theatre in Birmingham (full address below) .
The organisers look forward to welcoming staff, freelance workers, casuals and students. Both members and non-members are encouraged to take part.
The National Skills Academy for the creative and cultural sectors is BECTU's partner in the festival. A host of other organisations are also contributing generously.
The full exhibitor line up includes: BECTU, NSA (National Skills Academy), ABTT (Association of British Theatre Technicians), TUC Unionlearn, SMA (Stage Management Association), Stage Electrics and the union's solicitors, Thompsons.
Presentations and seminars
The day's programme will include a presentation on work experience and internships in the sector. The National Skills Academy will also speak on the services they provide.
Seminars, which can be booked on the day, will cover:
- Money Made Clear
- Freelance Working
- CV Development
- Working at Height.
