BECTU has published guidance for members ahead of the industrial action which will affect the BBC's operations on Friday 22 October.
The action, which will be supported by members of BECTU, the NUJ and Unite is taking place to protect the strike mandate secured by the unions in September.
Without this Friday's action the unions would be prevented from using the mandate secured last month should members reject the BBC's final offer on pensions.
Members in London will have a further opportunity to discuss the offer at meetings tomorrow, Thursday 21 October. The details are:
- Television Centre,14.30 - 15.30: The Bridge Lounge.
- Bush House, 18.30: Room 841 / 842, Centre Block, Bush House.
Consultative ballots are underway amongst all union members; ballot papers should be returned to the Electoral Reform Services by 12 noon on Thursday 28 October.
