BECTU has long supported staff and freelancers working for Sky. Whether you work at the company's production base in Osterley, in call centres across the UK, or as an installer, BECTU membership is open to you.
Our officials provide substantial support for members involved in personal cases (eg a disciplinary or grievance). We also provide members with support in redundancy consultations or personal injury cases. In essence, union members can call on us for assistance with any employment issue despite the fact that BECTU is not recognised by Sky for collective pay bargaining. The union's support can make a real, positive difference to outcomes in personal cases.
Non-members can raise an initial query by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org To find out more about joining visit this page. Prospective members at Sky can use the join online facility. Subscriptions for members at Sky are fixed at no more than £10 a month.
