If you work for the BBC, BBC Studios, BBC Worldwide or BBC Studioworks Ltd you can use this form to join the BECTU Sector of Prospect and to pay your subscriptions through the payroll (by deductions at source, otherwise known as DAS).

The subscription for new members is £120 a year payable at £10 a month; the £10 introductory rate will apply for a two-year period. If you are re-joining then your subscriptions will be 1% of your salary. (ie 1p in the £1); an upper limit of £33.33 per month applies.

Authorisation to BECTU Sector of Prospect to deduct subscriptions from wages/salary

I authorise the BECTU Sector of Prospect to make arrangements with my employer to deduct periodically from my pay union subscriptions of £10 per month for the first 24 months (or 1% of my regular earnings if I earn less than £12,000pa or if I am rejoining) and from then on 1% of my regular earnings, up to a limit of £33.33 per month. This rate may be revised subsequently in accordance with union rules.
