High Impact Interview Skills

Ideal for people in the creative sector as we explore the variety of interviewing techniques, how to prepare for a high impact interview and to have the opportunity to test out interviewing strategies during the day. We help you to think about how to answer questions that connect, how to effectively communicate with an interviewer and promote the key skills and services in a way that differentiates you positively from others.

The Tutor

The workshop facilitator is Alec McPhedran, managing director of Skills Channel TV.

Alec is a well established creative trainer and coach. He works internationally on a wide range of creative business and leadership people skills projects and is a creative industries business adviser for Business Link and The Prince’s Trust.

He has held a number of senior roles with Channel 4, Financial Times Management, The Pearson Group and The Open College. Alec is a member of BAFTA and the Royal Television Society and is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD
