Effective CV Writing

Course description

It’s never been more important to have a powerful CV in your portfolio. We all know an effective CV can make the difference between bin and win! This course takes you through all the essential elements, the must-do’s and don’t of a great CV; what to put in and what to leave out, style, format, content. With references to examples of good and bad CV samples, participants will reassess their own CV throughout the course with one-to-one feedback, and will aim to produce a version of a CV that you can actually use across the creative and media sectors by the end of the day.

"Thank you. I've certainly learnt tons from the last couple of BECTU courses I've attended." BECTU member, Spring 2009
