Did you know that there are huge advantages to BECTU membership beyond direct support in the workplace?
Members can enjoy several additional services and benefits ranging from discounted BFI membership to hearing healthcare discounts with Harley Street Hearing. The union’s lawyers, Thompsons, provide a 24 hour/365 day legal helpline; their free will-making service is amongst the most popular of union benefits.
BECTU provides access to a tax consultant for help and advice, issues press passes and provides a script registration service. Public liability insurance is a key benefit for freelance members.
Union members can join the industry network Production Base at a discounted rate, thanks to our partnership arrangements.

BECTU Plus
Even more benefits for members and their families are available through BECTU Plus, a scheme launched in January 2010, which delivers price promises on a host of services such as gym membership, airport parking, car and home insurance, books and tax returns.
