Advice on funding
Steve Hewlett, presenter of Radio 4's The Media Show will chair a discussion titled 50 Ways to Get Funding Before you Die! with Christo Hird (producer The End of the Line) and Chris Atkins (director Starsuckers).
File-based acquisition anyone?
Experts from the Televisual Roadshow will present two sessions on the advantages of file-based acquisition and the challenges for post-production. (Spaces on the afternoon session are now limited so act now).
And Nicola Lees, a programme maker with 80 commissions to her credit will join us to share her knowledge of the pitching process.

Short Film Screening
The day’s final slot will see a screening of the best three short films chosen from entries to the BECTU/DV Talent Short Film Competition. The closing date for entries is Friday 4 June; more details here www.bectu.org.uk/short-film-competition
