6 May 2010
Members at Red Bee Media have voted overwhelmingly to settle their disputes with the company.
The prospect of industrial action at Red Bee was lifted on 6 May 2010.
In the consultative ballot which closed at lunchtime today (Thursday) 94 per cent of those voting backed the revised offer on redundancy rights and late night and early morning transport communicated last month.
As a result the trade disputes are now resolved and the industrial action ballots are made void.
The development confirms that members' accrued redundancy rights will be protected and the introduction of personal tax liability for transport at unsociable hours will be deferred until 2011.
