Talks with the BBC which focus on the Corporation's relationship with its freelance workforce are continuing.
A meeting was held on 11 March and the following brief statement was agreed:
"The BBC and BECTU had a second constructive meeting on 11 March in an attempt to gain greater transparency and certainty in the way the BBC engages with its freelancers. The meeting between both sides was positive and it has been agreed to meet again on 30 March."
An initial meeting took place on 26 February.
The union initiative was discussed with freelance representatives at a meeting led by Gerry Morrissey, general secretary, on 16 January.
