The London Film School – ‘HOTHOUSE’ April 2010 – June 2011 Phase One Application Deadline: 18th January 2010
HOTHOUSE provides an opportunity for those who have already had some success in an expressive medium – film, performance, theatre, visual arts, broadcasting, new media, literature, etc – to develop a signature independent feature film and make it ready for financing and production. Rather than working in isolation, writers, directors and producers are given a calendar of group seminars, individual meetings, deadlines and feedback, case studies and mentoring built on the specific challenges of each proposed film. Working from idea through structuring and revising, scheduling and budgeting, to packaging options, the nine participants will emerge with workable projects tied to realistic finance plans. This project is supported and subsidised by Skillset but remains expensive so please check with the organizers to make sure it is right for you!
For more information, including how to apply, please visit www.lfs.org.uk or contact us: hothouse.info@lfs.org.uk / 020 7836 9642.
