The threat of an industrial action ballot amongst union members at Red Bee Media has been lifted following an agreement to further talks.
Talks between RBM, BECTU and the NUJ will continue into the New Year.
Contacts between management and union representatives produced a brief statement on 4 December.
"Red Bee Media management and the joint unions (BECTU and NUJ) have agreed to continue in negotiations for a further 6 week period in an attempt to reach agreement.
"During this time management will not implement any of the changes to terms and conditions and the joint unions will not commence a ballot for industrial action.
"Both sides are committed to reaching an amicable settlement."
A week earlier, on 27 November, RBM management withdrew from talks insisting that changes to terms and condtions would be imposed from January.
