November is Will Aid month - solicitors up and down the country will be drawing up wills in exchange for a donation to charity.
This is an ideal time therefore to remind BECTU members that they have access to a free will-making service all year round.
Courtesy of the union's relationship with Thompsons Solicitors, BECTU members can make a will without charge. Members complete an initial questionnaire and a Thompsons' representative follows up with guidance in what is a straightforward process.
Thompsons says:
"Making a Will need not be complicated. We offer this service for every client and their partner whether married or not and for partners of the same sex. This service can help you safeguard the interests of your family, friends and dependants – and you don't even have to visit us. Using our questionnaire, we can draft your Will from the information you provide."
