• Theatre - West End and Regional theatres.
• Entertainment - including leisure centres and bingo.
• Background artists - Film Artistes' Association members.
• Interactive media - including web production and games software.

BECTU negotiates pay, conditions and contracts with employers on behalf of its more than 27,000 members who are permanently employed, contract and freelance.

It also provides a range of services and benefits for individual members.
