CAMPAIGNS

In October 2011 the BBC launched proposals to deal with the 20% budget cuts it has decided upon following its agreement with government to freeze the licence fee until 2017. The proposals -  dubbed Delivering Quality First - are hugely controversial.

BECTU believes that without overhaul DQF will destroy the BBC through its attacks on programme quality and on staff terms and conditions. Visit the DQF campaign pages for all related news stories and other information.
