Don't top slice the licence fee
The campaign against top-slicing of the BBC's licence fee has stepped up a gear. BECTU members and supporters generally are being asked to pledge their support for the continued independence of the BBC by sending a postcard to Ben Bradshaw, secretary of state at the Department of Culture Media and Sport. Branch representatives are being supplied with the postcards which will also be distributed at key sites across the country.Visit the campaign section for related news stories.
