BECTU provided its first live webcast from this page on Thursday 24 November 2011. The event, Your Job or Your Life? discussed the challenges of work/life balance, particularly from the point of view of TV and radio production, but the debate was also relevant to workers in other areas of the creative sector.

Leading lights in our Writers Producers and Directors' branch organised an expert panel which comprised Kate O’Connor, executive director & deputy CEO, Skillset Kate Kinninmont, chief executive, Women in Film and TV, Fi Glover, broadcaster and co-founder of Sound Women and Greg Chivers, series producer (and dad!).
