BECTU's recommended going rates of pay for freelances working on television factual programmes can be downloaded here.
The rates cover freelance contracts with independent production companies in areas such as reality television and documentaries. They do not cover drama, light entertainment or news.
The current rates are valid from 23 August 2007.
Also available to download are BECTU's guidance notes for members engaged by independent production companies on factual television productions; these guidance notes were introduced in April 2008.
