BECTU's recommended rates of pay for special effects grades are available to download from this page.
The rates were first published in September 2010 and reflect data gathered from branch members. Rates are quoted for trainee, assistant technician, technician and senior technician grades, including and excluding holiday pay.
The document also provides guidance on:

- the length of the working day
- overtime
- notice to terminate
- night work
- split days
- broken lunches; and
- payment.
