Hair & Make-Up

BECTU's recommended going rates of pay for freelances working in hair and make-up for television, feature films, pop promos, corporate videos and commercials are available here to download.

The current rates were published in October 2009 and take account of the increase in statutory holiday entitlement introduced on 1 April 2009. The schedule also recognises the role of trainees and sets out daily and weekly rates based on the National Minimum Wage and on the London Living Wage.

The rates have been produced by the union's freelance Hair and Make-Up Branch.
